good suggestion, and yes for how unbalancing the skill despite its elite status is, it it way way way too easy to aquire/use/exploit.

But honestly can anyone really say that there is anything new here, if not UB we'd simply be ranting about some other skill or skill combo that others were using to gain an advantage we deemed unfair, seems to be the nature of some players really, exploit exploit nerf rinse repeat. A nerf here isn't going to stop that or prevent this discussion from happening in the future about something else.

Oh and I would point out that any hint that rank racism or class racism is a PvP only trait has not tried to operate in the DoA or either Factions Elite Mission.

I say leave it be. Its the only way some of us can get into DoA. Try being a sin and getting a group.

I do not think that it is speaking in favor of Ursan Blessing that it is THE entry card for PUGs for basically everything, up to the elite areas of the Domain of Anguish.

Elite area + PUG in one sentence makes me cringe, also the fact that nobody seems to have 4-7 human friends in this game that take him despite of his class. Too much blame is put on the class.

The solution is to make everyone almost the same bear? Please, this is a 5 skill abomination that replaces teamplay and player skill, speaking volumes about the quality of the PvE game.

I have a mesmer in our alliance, she always wants to become the bear. Because the 5 bear skills and the form are so much powerful, at least in her opinion, than anything she can do. This is SAD.

This skill is the most broken bandaid and does not fix such problems, it only highlights them.

Becoming the bear is not the only way for the less popular classes to see play, it is just an excuse and fake argument to abuse a stupidly powerful skill that causes perhaps the most degenerate gameplay seen in Guild Wars PvE so far.

I agree but the problem isnt that i cant work a build that survives and works there its that as a sin or mes or what ever u cant get a group. As for the 4-7 friend thing....well i got nothing on that. i dont even have 7 friends on my list.

I recommend heroes and henchmen, which work better than most PuGs. Except they are all bears... oOoo.

Here's what I've been thinking for a while: The bear spirit just doesn't throw his blessings around like they're nothing, the group gets one and they live with it. If one person has UB up, he gets the full bonuses. If 2 people have UB up, there is a minor penalty. If 8 people have UB up, the total bonuses take a fairly major hit. This ensures that lesser desired professions can keep their UB, while somewhat encouraging Warriors, Elementalists, and Monks to stay as they are.

Mainly because the game should be mildly challenging.

If it didn't offer a challenge, why do you play? That's why there's so much grind in PvE these days. It's not especially challenging, so they have to give PvE'ers something to do. Otherwise, you go to PvP, or you quit. Back on topic, don't you want to be at least sort of challenged?

it is mildly challenging, don't bring UB with you. including UB in your skill bar is an option, its not lock on your skill bar.
